  • St. Martin of Tours
    St. Martin of Tours was born a pagan in 316. During his time in the Roman army, he saw an old man shivering in the cold and gave the old man half his cloak. He converted to Christianity after seeing a vision of Christ that night, wearing the half of his cloak and telling his angels the story.
  • St. Matthias the Apostle
    St. Matthias was the replacement Apostle for Judas, chosen by casting lots. He joined the Apostles after the Ascension of Jesus and was with the Apostles during the descent of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost.
  • St. Monica
    St. Monica was born in 322 and raised Christian. She was married to a violent pagan, with whom she had three children, including St. Augustine. Her husband converted just before his death. St. Monica prayed for seventeen years for Augustine's conversion, and Augustine was baptized the year she died. She died after seeing her son baptized.
