  • St. Louis
    Saint Louis was born in 1214 to King Louis VII and the saintly Queen Blanche. Greatly influenced by his mother, he was considered pious even from his youth. At age 22, he ascended to the throne and ruled France justly, helping the poor and promoting the Christian faith.

  • St. Regis
    St. John Francis Regis was born at Languedoc, France on Jan. 31, 1597. He joined the Society of Jesus at age 18 and was ordained at age 33. St. Regis traveled throughout France educating and converting the poor, hearing confessions, and collecting food and money for the unfortunate. He died of pneumonia in 1640.

  • St. Rose
    St. Rose of Lima was born on April 20, 1586. She took a vow of chastity and helped her parents and other poor by embroidering. She was a mystic and a visionary, and suffered many mental and physical afflictions. She died at Lima on Aug. 24, 1617.
