  • St. Lazarus
    St. Lazarus is the patron of lepers and the patron against leprosy. We meet him in the Gospel narrative of the rich man and Lazarus, where a rich man dined richly while outside his home, Lazarus was starving and covered with sores. After both men died, the rich man was tormented in his suffering and and Lazarus was received by Abraham.
  • St. Vincent de Paul
    St. Vincent De Paul was born poor in Pouy, Gascony, France on April 24, 1580. He was ordained a priest in 1601. He founded what became the Lazarists or Congregation of the Priests of the Mission, and many other groups to help the poor, sick, and unemployed. He died on Sept. 27, 1660.
