  • St. Drogo
    St. Drogo was born in 1105 to Flemish nobility and lived primarily in France. He worked as a shepherd for several years before an extreme physical affliction drove him to live as a hermit. He spent the remaining 40 years of his life doing penance.

  • St. Dymphna
    St. Dymphna was a seventh century Irish virgin martyr. She was 15 (in about 620) when she lost her life spurning the incestuous advances of her father who insisted on marrying her to replace her deceased mother. St. Dymphna is the patroness of those with mental and neurological afflictions.

  • St. Margaret of Cortona
    St. Margaret of Cortona was born in 1247. She eloped with a nobleman after her father remarried. Her lover died nine years later, and she and her son took refuge with the Franciscan Friars in Cortona. She became a Franciscan tertiary and cared for the sick poor, later forming a congregation of Tertiary Sisters known as le Poverelle and founding a hospital. She died in 1297.

  • St. Raphael the Archangel
    St Raphael is one of the three Archangels mentioned in Sacred Scripture, along with Gabriel and Michael. His best known appearance is in the Old Testament book of Tobit. During this book, he does several works of healing. He is traditionally attributed as the Angel in John who stirred the waters of Bethsaida.
