  • St. Bernadette
    At the age of fourteen, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to St. Bernadette several times, with a message of prayer, penance, and a request that a shrine be built at Lourdes. Because of the apparitions, St. Bernadette was ridiculed and even harassed by the police, but she remained constant despite such difficulties.
  • St. Drogo
    St. Drogo was born in 1105 to Flemish nobility and lived primarily in France. He worked as a shepherd for several years before an extreme physical affliction drove him to live as a hermit. He spent the remaining 40 years of his life doing penance.
  • St. Germaine
    St. Germaine Cousin was born near Toulouse in 1579. After the death of her mother, her father remarried and St. Germaine was treated harshly. She worked as a shepherdess and was made to sleep in the stables. She died at the age of 22 her body was later found to be incorrupt.
  • St. Raphael the Archangel
    St Raphael is one of the three Archangels mentioned in Sacred Scripture, along with Gabriel and Michael. His best known appearance is in the Old Testament book of Tobit. During this book, he does several works of healing. He is traditionally attributed as the Angel in John who stirred the waters of Bethsaida.
  • St. Regina
    St. Regina was born in Alesia, on the boarder of ancient Gaul and Rome. She was raised Christian by her nurse, and lived with her as a shepherdess after her pagan father threw her out. She was imprisoned after rejecting the prefect Olybrius's offer of marriage. She was tortured and eventually killed.
